Vendors
Vendors were set up tonight in the lobby. They had some fake Coach purses that were nice, but the last thing I need is another purse!
Mexican Theme Night
The buffet tonight had a Mexican theme. The tamales were very good. For dessert they had a man making Churros....OMG! I feel a huge zit coming on!
Playa Del Carmen
Mom wanted to buy more drugs, so we went back to Playa. On the way there, I noticed that a shop that I like in Plaza Antigua was open, so I had the taxi driver drop us off there.
I bought a necklace from the man, and he asked me where my sister was! LOL He meant Bryn David because she was with me in February and bought a piece of jewelry from him. I think her skin is a little darker than mine though. LOL
Bingo!
We walked across the street to a little jewelry store, and a little, Teacup Poodle was sitting in the doorway. I fell in love with it and I don't usually like those types of dogs. His name was Bingo, and he was so sweet.
Mom bought her first souvenir there, and I tried to negotiate for the dog too!
Drugs
Believe it or not, by the time we got to town, mom decided that she didn't need anymore drugs.
Pelican
One of my favorite stores was open tonight, and the lady noticed that my hair was different. It's so funny that everyone remembers me.
Mom bought a leather pelican there that is so cool.
5th Avenue and More
We ventured around for a while and checked to see if Jorge was open this evening, but he wasn't. Slacker! That wouldn't fly in the U.S. - We need set business hours.
Back at the RIU Tequila
We returned to the hotel and watched the beginning of the entertainment. Mom was anxious to read her book though, so we had one drink and I left her in the room. I wanted to blog, and I also have a client to quote.
